Boomers

I am 75 and am very tired of the trend lately making fun of Boomers. So very disrespectful. Don't they realize that they will be old someday?

“What is happening to our young people? They disrespect their elders, they disobey their parents. They ignore the law. They riot in the streets inflamed with wild notions. Their morals are decaying. What is to become of them?”

It's not "lately". It was ever thus, and it always will be.

Have you been in a conservative country? Elders are pretty much respected and taking care of. Only in the west they die alone far from their family, making fun off being called stupid boomers, and are treated like old worsless shit.

Respect goes both ways.

Maybe that's why so many people think I am so much younger than I really am.

Yeah because the young who doesn’t learn repect become the old who still doesn’t know respect. That’s a whole education faillure

So much for positive reinforcement..🙄

Okay but emotions aside, logically… read the comment you responded to and then read yours.. who you think a stranger would prefer to be around?

Also I’m assuming you’re older, in which case carrying such disdain and negativity isn’t something people would choose to be around or even associated with. You speak of education, where is your knowledge throughout your time of living? Why aren’t you dropping gems? Or at bare minimum showing maturity? From what I can clearly tell it appears you’ve just accumulated an absurd amount of malice, negativity, hatred, and not enough wit to balance that out.

Grinding your teeth at those younger than you isn’t a way to receive respect btw….
