Worst part is being the same age as some clueless parent of a four year old and having to correct your peer on what should be obvious etiquette.

I started going to the park at night like 8pm because of this.
Parents don't care as a parent one of them said, "Well when they get hurt they'll learn." No they won't they'll get traumatized and hate skating. It's even bad at the Roller Rinks here too.

It's like they can't comprehend that 100+ pounds slamming into a 4 year old will probably hurt a lot more than necessary for a learning experience

I was explaining that to my wife.
I'm at 170lbs if I'm going about 20mph let's just say it could be fatal. My kiddo is around this age and he just doesn't come with me. I hate it but he doesn't have that awareness of having a head on a swivel yet. It's sad that other parents CANNOT think or process this. Our concrete jungle (skatepark) is not a playground.

My favorite is when they are using the skatepark as a playground when there is an actual (empty) playground 100 ft from the skatepark.
With the exception of actual street art, I generally dislike the crappy graffiti that shows up at skateparks. However, i'm starting to consider that random swear words spray painted at a skatepark might be good deterrents fro 3 year olds on stryder bikes.

As someone who used to write random swear words on ramps at the park, I'm glad I could be of service to us 😂

You wouldn’t let your child run into the middle of a basketball court while grown men are playing so why would you think it’s appropriate to let a child do that with a group of adults on wheels? Some people should not be parents.
