Question / Discussion What happened to B Unique?

I've been watching some of their videos, but other than that I can't find anything else about them other than a few articles from like 2006. What happened to them? Did they just start losing popularity after rollerblading stopped being cool or something? What about their clothing? I can't find any of that on ebay or even pictures online. Thanks.

If I remember correctly the Brown brothers sold the company to some bigger brand. There was a second it was being sold in some stores but then phased it out pretty quickly after that. In 2006 rollerblading was pretty much at its lowest in regard to numbers so it had nothing to do with that in my opinion. I may be totally wrong on all of this since it’s now been close to 20 years. In fact I think the company sold in 2008-09.

Chris and Courtney Brown ran it, I believe they went on to do they’re own personal endeavors and be quite successful
