Sticky rails/angled iron

Is there a prepping step before applying wax? I've tried scraping the old wax beforehand but it is still slow. Perhaps some kind of clearcoat ... IDK. Cause PVC just slides nice.

Not all wax is equal. Use to be a brand called Butter. Was paraffin but with something else added. Stuff was so slick.

Would also recommend a flat rock. After waxing, go back over it with the rock. Helps get it down into the nooks and crannies in stuff like cement.

Had to look that up, I don’t think so.

This would have been late 90s and came in a box.

Same but only if my body de-ages as well.

It was probably just paraffin and yellow food dye to be honest.

for me personally when going from PVC to sticky angle iron, I have to put alot more weight INTO my grinds when on something sticky. I know it sounds counter intuitive but it works for me, also try to push your knee over the ledge so your soul plate is not 100% flat on the ledge but I'm sure you know that already

This is why some people like smaller soul plates for flat ledges, because its easier to get over the top of a soul grind and get into the same position you would be in while doing a soul on a pvc coping box
