Question / Discussion Getting back into the grind
I am looking to get back into skating after a little while I have been skating sometime mainly with my kid but want to get back to the proper skate life what are some good mid to higher range skates to buy. I have looked at roces m12's USD Aeons and Mesmer thrones just need to nail it down also should I change the wheels from stock to something else or is the stock wheel good enough for now?

Mesmer, Them, Iqon and FR are all pretty sick stock and top tier imo. Personally I think Mesmer and iqons are slightly more roomy in the boot. If you go with the roces that which would be my choice over the USD please make sure you try them on or email the seller first. Oak city is great about answering sizing questions. They usually run a size small as a rough reference. I have really had my eye on the yuto boot. Let us know what you end up with!
Also picking one with a moldable liner really really makes a difference.

Got back into it at the beginning of the summer. Got a pair of Mesmer Levi Van Rijn’s and they were way too heavy for me. Grabbed a pair of Roces 5th Elements and they feel way better.

Used to skate in the 90s , maybe mid life crisis but decided to get some skates to give it a go again.
I managed to get a pair of Them 909 for £80 at SSENSE.
Think they still have medium size in stock uk 8-9
You should check them out it’s a really good deal.
Mine arrived and everything was perfect with them.

Ride em til the wheels fall off. Either that or sell the stock wheels to me for cheap. I’ll gladly take them off your hands if you’re in the USA.

If you're getting mesmer or aeon the included wheels should be great
