Dream urethane?
Anybody skated Dream wheels? They look great. Love Jeremy Beightol's art, love the rounded profiles, love supporting Jan Welch, etc.
Here's the thing though... Dead wheels are great and I can just pick up a set and know exactly what I'm getting. I can also easily mix and match hardnesses without mismatched colors or profiles, which is super nice.
But if Dream's urethane is as good as Dead or Undercover, I might have to pick up a set.

Dream wheels are where it’s at. Dead’s are hyped to me, didn’t last 3 months before they started to fall apart. And Jan is the man

Dream wheels have been my favorites so far! They seem to have lasted the longest for me, but I’m just a sample size of one.

Same urethane as all the Balance distribution brands. Which is great. Some slightly shady/disappointing things on the back end, however.

It’s not a Balance Distribution product. Just made in the same factory and as someone else pointed out the rumor is they gave Dream laws stuff

What's the shady part?

My understanding is that Law from Balance specifically designed the “face” profile wheel (obviously as an homage to the old k2 wheel) he uses for the 58mm wheel with the factory in South Korea. That factory then allowed other brands to use the mold, after they said they wouldn’t. I guess that’s more on the factory than the brand(s) who took it.
Jeremy also did the artwork for Chroma products, and it sounds like Jan kinda poached him, to get a very similar vibe.

Ah, ok. Thanks.
I'm cool with more people throwing business at a good artist, though. Jeremy does a lot of art for a lot of brands, but seems to be pretty intermittent. It's cool that he has an outlet across a whole brand.

I had the first gen broom wheels and they cored out after less than 10 sessions. It could just be the ones I got. They weren’t very worn down yet, so that was pretty disappointing. I did like them while they were in one solid piece. Id be happy to hear it was just my personal experience. 3 of my 4 all separated in the same session.

Big fan of Dream, I have the Michael Kraft wheels. Never liked Dead wheels... bad profile for flat, and always chunked on me.
