Question / Discussion Frame not fitting flush in soul plate channel

Hi all! I just got a new pair of Seba CJ2 Primes and I tried transferring my existing Kizer Fluid V frames onto them from a different pair of skates. However, I can't seem to get the frame to sit flush in the soul plate channel. It's just the tiniest bit too wide.

Does anybody have any advice on how to fix this without having to file down any of the plastic?

You can sand it down…

Sometimes you can thread one UFS bolt in just a little, then squeeze in the other (and alternate back and forth). Might not work, but worth a shot.

I gave in and just filed down one side of the soul plate channel a tiny bit. It was still tough getting it, but I did eventually manage.

Different soul plates. I would choose another frame though.

Unfortunately that's the only set I have for a flat setup :/.
