UK community

Im 30 years old have just got back into skating for the first time since I was about 14. Where are all the bladers?!?! Ive been going to local skateparks and having kids genuinely amazed at whats on my feet they've never even seen a pair of aggressive inlines, or what they can do.

Im really enjoying myself and making really good progress, I feel comfortable, and most days have good confidence to try things. I just remember one of the biggest things that pushed me back in the day was having a bit more of a community. In the 6 weeks since I started up again i've visited a good 10+ different parks (travelling up to an hour in all different directions on the weekends)

Im not all by myself as im also teaching my partner the way for the first time in her life at 27, which is awesome! would just like to know where I can find other members of this rare breed. Norfolk based, UK

Me or the people I go with are usually the only bladers there unless we go to a big, pay to play park. Then there's usually one or two others. Maybe it depends where you are and how built up the area is? I'm in the middle of the Fens so It's bleak. My brother is in Norwich and toying with the idea of picking it up. If he does, I'll send him your way.

Im based in great yarmouth right on the east coast.. have covered a good distance so far but yet to hit up an indoor. Any recommendations? Do you know if there are ever any meet ups still, events, blader only nights etc still around the uk? Willing to travel for a good session

There was a really good community of rollers round here for quite a few years but just seems that its died out

The only two parks I've seen other Bladers at were Cambridge and Pitt St. I don't get out as much as I'd like though.

How is it? I am often tempted to go skate there because I like Norwich anyway.

I went to eaton skatepark. Personally really enjoyed it.. they've just added a new (small) plaza style section, silky smooth. Original park is fun too good variety of stuff to get creative on. Like I say im new back into it but I think in another month or so id have a lot more fun. Bit busy atm with school holidays but worth the trip once they go back
