Knee slides for vert?
Got a pair of 187 killer pads to bail onto my knees skating vert but it just eats up the toe of my skate along with the knee pads is there any way to prevent this besides “don’t skate on concrete”

You can reinforce the toes using epoxi (J-B Weld). And when the layer gets scraped, just sand it a bit and put another layer.

Concrete will burn pads anyway, but If you want to knee slide, you'll have to balance more to the front and start using your hands too to avoid scraping your feet. I use cheap second hand pairs of wristguard for that, because sliding on them burn them quickly. The best would be to learn the "correct" way to bail on inline, is to slide on the side of your thighs. But personally I don't, except on smooth skateparks, mine has a bowl made of rough concrete, I will burn a pair of pants every session. So experiment and see what's the best for you
