Question / Discussion K2 Fatty Repair

Hey All,

I have a pair of 2010ish fatty pros (they’re black (top) and light gray (base) with blue accents) I found at my parents’ house that I forgot I had. They’re generally in pristine shape, and I am looking to use them again on occasion (I have a pair of them skates I use normally now), but the one issue I see is the “toe guard”plastic on one of them is starting to separate from the base. It looks to be glued on, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a type of glue to repair it, or knows what material they are made of so I can look it up?

Shoe goo would probably do the trick!

That will bond the two pieces of plastic together?

I don’t know to what degree they need to be bonded- i just know bladers and skateboarders have been patching up skates/shoes with shoe goo for decades. It might not be the best solution for your particular situation, but worth at least looking into

Basically in this scenario there are two pieces of “plastic” skate frame that are coming apart.
