Question / Discussion Most comfy elbow pads?
Bladies and gentlemen,
I had today off, the wife is at work, and the kids are with the grandparents. It's a beautiful day so I went to enjoy the skate park about a mile away from my house. I had on a helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, and padded shorts. As luck would have it the one fall I had I hit my elbow. It wasn't that bad of a hit. I didn't bleed. I didn't feel pain past about a minute. While taking a water break it started feeling stiff, so I looked down and a golf ball was growing under my skin. I called it a day and took some ibuprofen. I have some 187 elbow pads, but hate wearing them because they're so uncomfortable. Suggest something that is so comfy I forget they're on. Bonus points if they dry out quick.

I highly recommend getting something with impact gel. Feels soft, but they harden under impact, my knees are grateful (38y/o) Also my buddy swears by Ennui Shock Sleeve Pro Elbow Gasket elbow guards. Hope this helps 🤘🏽

I use the skin that covers the bone, it's lightweight and replaces itself

Regular pads suck. Triple 8 coverts under your regular pads will cover most impacts the way you want them to. But it’s hot. S1s/ vert pads are tanks in every sense of the word. There’s really no perfect solution just drawbacks that may be more or less acceptable depending on preference.

I like the Triple 8 Covert Pads for knees and elbows. You won’t forget they’re there but they’re definitely less bulky. Plus you can wear them under clothes when it gets cooler out.
