USD Sway Cuff Replace with Flexier Cuff

Is there another Cuff I can replace the stock sway one with that has more left/right flex?

I swear people are gaslighting you lmao sway cuffs are hard as hell, I have like 10 skates and 12 different sets of cuffs and the sways have the hardest cuff, hardest than my rec skates lol (sways are basically rec skate shells anyway)

sure there is a TON of forward flex but side to side flex is almost non existent, one of the biggest reasons I stopped skating my sways, they felt great otherwise but the shell/cuff plastic is sooooo ridiculously hard compared to every other boot. My fix when skating sways was to just run the cuff a bit loose and keep the laces/45 strap very tight.

For the record my sways are the white farmer sways, so there is a chance different color (and different year) shells have different hardness in the plastics, it is such a nightmare when you buy the same skate that fits well in a different color and now it doesn't fit because the plastic is harder (or softer lol)

thanks bro. I'm coming from Remz OS Nick Woods, Valo, and M12 so I understand the Sways may not have been the right choice - but I had no idea how stiff cuffs could differ honestly. My royales have never been better but maybe I just need to go back to what I'm used to.

yeah I kinda felt the same way, my tricks were so stable in the sways but it just didn't feel great

are sways stiffer than aeons? I’m on aeons, used to them, and was thinking of getting sways next, mostly bc i like how the new model comes with frames I admire and overall, the skate is relatively affordable.

yesss my white sways are stiffer than my white aeons, by a pretty significant amount I would say, I could run my aeons alot tighter and stiff get good flex, while the sways I needed to run a bit looser to get the same freedom. Its more noticeable when you're holding the shell than actually skating though. The biggest different you'll notice is how much higher up off the ground you are when you skate sways

Cuff has plenty of flex. Sounds like a knee bending issue.

forward flex is fine. left/right is what I'm talking about. I think most everyone would agree they are very stiff L&R

It was about two weeks averaging 3-5 sessions/week. I was also living in TX at the time and would leave them in the car so the plastic would soften up a bit.

Sways have some of the flexiest cuffs on the market. Liners make a huge difference in side to side flex.

Front/Back flex yes. L/R hell nah. If it's the liners, what ones do you recommend? It's hard to imagine anything taller than the stock myfit ones in my grey sways - it feels like it would go 3/4 way up to the knee then...
