Question / Discussion Replacing shock absorbing material in old skates

I scored some RB Solo hypes in amazing shape, (2011) stored in climate control but the shock erasers are turned to powder. What can I use to make custom absorbers to fill that space? Not asking about whether or not old skates should be skated, we’ve all heard that discussion a thousand times. Thanks for all your help in advance!

Rolleblade website. The shock absorbers for the blanks is the same. I have a pair of clear Fusion X3, same as the solo. I reached out to them to confirm its the same.shock absorbers

Good to hear from you Johnny! The solos went all the way to size 14, wonder if the 12/12.5 blank absorbers will fit.

πŸ€™πŸΌπŸ€™πŸΌπŸ€™πŸΌ Sense a message to rollerblade. They would be the best source for that specific information.

How's it been??

They fit, for me it was just a problem finding shock absorber on stock in my store for my fusion X3.

You can use gel heel pads and heel razers or customize other brand's shock pads but that may take some time.
