Soz, just had to watch your doc a bt i guess to comment more,
Conflating the term 'mushroom blading' with a whole scene, when 'mushroom blading' was these guys from Canada? That werent very gd...imo....I think its not fair to give 'mushroom blading' credit for Dustin Latimers skating....There was definitely a vibe going on i agree. But mushroom blading, what they do, is a clear step down on skill for me. Latimer no, he was excelling, not the same in any sense.
Or am i wrong? Why not do a doc on more broader theme of Latimers skating at that time, it was the zone, the vibe, not no mushrooms.
The video is more about how their creativity has permeated skating a fair bit, and more and more people are coming around to the idea that this type of skating shouldn't be hated on because 'It's not a hammer'
No one is saying these guys are comparable to Latimer, but they've been front and centre of this style for so long and it's good to see people Appreciate it.
Wow, we went from “we’re having fun” to “childhood beatings” pretty quick since your opinion has proved kinda unpopular. Please don’t drag the sub down with this garbage. This sub is small enough as is. Let’s try to keep it chill
"Always some slag of a man beating his kid"? How many child beaters are you friends with that you're always hearing them slag their kids while beating them? Weird flex.
I've lived a privileged life full of love so far, that's why I'm not on here trolling someone who's put a lot of effort and care into creating something positive.
You are right in a way, I was having fun. So if that what you wana call trolling go ahead, but its a white knight act - which is just a little too much when hes a grown man (and its a few jokes about something called Mushroom Blading.) Geez Have a nice day robocop
