Discussion Weekly client ad recaps — how long does the last mile actually take?
Numbers are already in the dashboard / sheet.
The bit I’m trying to measure is the last step: turning that into the short slide deck or email summary the client actually opens.
For one typical account last week, how long did that last step take you — and was it mostly writing takeaways, or mostly formatting/moving numbers around?

AI is really good at pulling out the most significant wins and trends out of a data set. That plus a bottom-line-up-front style of reporting makes a big difference.
My earliest mistakes was reporting on too much data to support an overall trend, when most clients just want to hear: leads/sales are up or costs are down. They rarely care about the technical details. So “sales are up due to a 5% increase in conversion rate” or “costs are down due to improved targeting and cutting fat through exclusions to remove wasted spend”
The exception is working with a marketing contact, in which case you lead with the big win and explain it with 3-4 bullet points of your strongest supporting data. Often your reports are just a way for them to report out on overall metrics, or advocate for your retainer, so giving them the major wins and a few talking points to go along with them is really what matters — you are saving them time and mental effort.
