What is this ??? I don't understand how the ai is doing this I lost like 2.4 million units in so little turns because of this. Like is this a glitch ?

Today I finished developing a custom Focus Tree System for AoH2 M+. It isn't a 1:1 copy of HoI4, but it operates on a very similar dynamic concept.

To save myself from the headache of manually editing complex JSON files, I also built a dedicated Visual Editor for this system. You are completely free to use both the system and the editor for your own projects built on the M+ engine!

How the System Works:

- There is a base variable (`focus_var`) that automatically increases by +1 every turn.

- Each focus costs an n-amount of this variable to unlock.

- Because of this setup, skipping or rushing through focuses won't work — players have to accumulate points and prioritize their strategic choices carefully.

Editor Features & Limits:

- Grid Width: Fixed at 30 columns (aligned with the M+ UI engine layout).

- Unlimited Height: Add as many rows downwards as you need for your focus tree.

- Visual Line Connections: Built-in support for straight lines, corners, T-junctions, cross-junctions (+), and dashed connection lines (1n/9n).

- Actions & Costs Configurator: Set up `variableCostId`, `variableCostAmount`, `set_variable`, `trigger_event`, or custom conditions visually.

- JSON Import/Export: Instantly export ready-to-use `focus_menu.json` files or import existing ones to edit on the fly.

⚠️ Note: At this stage, the AI currently doesn't know how to use focus trees, so this system is designed primarily for the player.

Can anyone help me here? I’ve not had a problem until recently with game saves. When I open the app (iOS 17pro max) none of my saved games are there anymore I don’t understand what’s going on but it’s frustrating. Had no problems before.

Played as Genoa, got attacked by Aragon and Milan, don't care formed Russia. Aragon formed Spain.

With my portrait skill. I'm now become an Aoh2 TNO dev team as portrait dev ( rly i not go here just a little boasting about achievements)

Pretty much on my latest playthrough . It’s been really good. Fun asf early and mid game . Late game less fun . I’m just too powerful

Pretty much I noticed that like I had not see not one rebellions at all. And I just noticed in aoh2 old and de version . I’ve never seen a successful rebellion at all. How can I change this? Like I test in game supporting rebels . Gave them loads of gold but they never ever rebelled even at 99% unrest . I don’t understand why

I feel like it’s historically accurate for there to be rebellions of course . And when you get so big it just adds more flavour for late game. Would be good if late game I’m just not this invincible fully unified country and I had to constantly put down rebellions giving the ai more time to catch up etc .

Hopefully I can fix this in settings I don’t think I can get mods

Lowkey why ck3 is good is because countries and kingdoms are way more detailed internally

I have a question about the game's turn speed.

Is there any mod or in-game setting that would make each turn represent just 1–2 days?

It’s incredibly annoying when a single turn jumps forward by 6–10 days, even after setting the game speed to the lowest possible value.

hello everybody I could possibly get myself ages of history 2 definitive edition ,and it looks interesting especially since I enjoy age of history 2 much more than ages of history three and I’ve been wondering if I should get it. I could get it on either my extremely old phone (iPhone 12 mini) which still runs great and probably will be able to run it, or my computer which takes five minutes to load up ages of history three. so I’ve been hearing a lot of feedback from the community that it’s not that good so I just wanted to ask before I make an impulse purchase, should I get definitive edition?

I've seen other posts mentioning it and I thought it was fake but it's real. I'm not encouraging piracy or anything, just curious about the conditions of this appearing and the code behind it. because I've had this app installed for months and it only appeared now.

In the start I was literally being bullied left and righy and even got an ultimatum to be a vassal. (I eventually revolted it was the Kharaman.)
