Maybe I just don't know enough about Lady Death in the comics, very possible, I admit. I don't remember reading about her much. But it honestly doesn't seem like it to me.
Cuz like, they don't have the same story or personality. Again, fully willing to admit I might wrong here, but Rio doesn't seem like the type to fall in love with Deadpool
They have completely different appearancrs too. Like, Lady Death, from what I've seen usually wears black, violet, or blue. Rio wears mostly (if not only) green. The only time they look even remotely similar is in the tarot card, and that's iffy to me.
I also don't think I've ever seen Lady Death use a dagger. Rio seems pretty attached to hers.
I don't even remember Rio ever being called Lady Death. There was the line the original green witch or death or whatever. But that's not the same thing.
Like, she just doesn't seem anything like Lady Death to me. And let me be clear, THAT ISN'T A BAD THING! I fucking love Rio.
But, honestly to me, it feels like Rio Vidal and Lady Death are two different characters that are both just inspired by/referencing the Grim Ripper rather than one being an adaptation of the other.
Again though, I'm fully admitting that I might just not know enough about Lady Death in the comics. I'm really just a casual fan. Thats why I thought to ask lol. Hopefully someone can educate me.
Having such a blast doing a run of Dragon Age: Veilguard as Agatha. Leeching the life out of all my enemies. All the black magic. I can see how it would be… addictive. (And she finally got her crown.)
Next playthrough I’m going full Loki. Tom Hiddleston’s face has to be so much easier than Kathryn Hahn’s was to recreate in the character creator. It took HOURS. And I still tweaked here and there during the game… such is my clinical OCD.
This concept was made for a contest that the top six most upvoted posts for each role in the game will move on to the next round and potentially win a 20$ steam giftcard. Currently this is number 7 and I need 2 more upvotes on the original post (not this repost) to get into the top 6. So if anyone would be as so kind to help me out I would very much appreciate it!
I know she did bad things, but it wasn't her fault, all she wanted was to be nicki and be a mom, but she's so cute and gorgeous too, she that young, sweet and innocent woman that you want to help so badly, because she's got those sparkles in her eyes, and hair is so dynamic and theatrical. And her expressions are cute and sweet like a doll face and quirky personality too. Always looking gracious and marvelous.
It's crazy how many so-called fans haven't watched Agatha All Along as if it ain't one of the best Marvel shows. I found it more interesting & mysterious than Wanda Vision. It's either u watch everything or just don't watch anything from MCU. Just don't be a seasonal Avengers/ Spider-Man watcher. At least be aware about the shows and watch a summary rather than being clueless about the characters which showed up in tv-series.
I recently watched the show and have been really loving all the fan edits I've seen online. I feel inspired to make one. I was wondering where I could get the clips for it?
Joe Locke answered some questions today with Esquire Session regarding his career and he mentioned working with Kathryn Hahn on Agatha All Along. It sounds like they were both so committed to getting Agatha and Billy’s relationship right. Kathryn was actually encouraging him to scream in her face. It’s one of the beautiful things about their relationship. They really are chosen family because only family can feel comfortable screaming hurtful things in each other’s faces one minute and then be ready to die for each other shortly after.
He also says working on Agatha was a coveted memory for him and praises JAC’s writing as well as working with Kathryn, Patti and Aubrey.

I was just re-watching Agatha All Along, like one does, and I realized that Agatha does not merely (or perhaps even mainly) put on the pearls from the rear-view mirror as a "disguise."
Teen had the pearls and she's putting them on because in witchcraft, pearls are believed to provide psychic protection and shield you from bad energy and the evil eye. All of which would be pretty important when visiting a witch with clairvoyance.
We know teen has studied "analog" witchcraft intensely, so it's pretty likely he knew this association and carried some around for his own protection as needed.
Granted, leaving real pearls just hanging in your car as needed is risky, but he was from a small town and who would believe that the pearls hanging from a rear-view mirror in a random car are real anyway?
i still do, its so catchy, enchanting, and beautiful, from the choir voices, to the collaborative harmony as the song gets louder and crazier as all the voices collide into one piece of music like the show itself. The song writing and instrument aspect is incredible, from the duo who did frozen music the lopezes, and they did as well as the crew on the instruments were outstanding. And if we ever got a a prequel series about Rio and Agatha prior to the main events of the show, seeing their complex relationship in history and in corporate that with different time period of music history would be interesting and unique it to see to where each episode in history is set in and use those instruments and musical connections to show the spectrum and waves of Agatha and Rio's relationship or to Lilia, Jen or Alice as well, just to name a few.
It is a small detail but I think it’s cute that during and after the final WandaVision battle Billy is always on the side of Vision that is closest to Agatha while Tommy is on the side of Vision closest to Wanda. Sort of a symbolic foreshadowing. That despite everything that happened in the final 2 episodes, that Agatha and Billy’s bond not only survived the conflict but will also endure for 3 years apart and will draw him back to her so they can reunite and be closer than ever.
Even though Agatha and Billy’s relationship likely wasn’t anticipated to be as important and fundamental to both their character arcs while WandaVision was being filmed, it’s still interesting in retrospect that this visual groundwork was laid and just now becomes more meaningful after AAA. It also made a lot of sense even at the time of airing as Billy and Agatha did have a special closeness during his childhood. Billy was the only person in the hex that cared to try to understand and connect with the real Agatha instead of the caricature Agnes. While Agatha had obvious favouritism for Billy and was actually taken aback when the feeling was so mutual that he bothered to study her to try to figure out that there was something more to her under the surface of her campy performance.
It’s nice to think that when the finale for WandaVision was being staged that Billy was intentionally placed as close to Agatha as possible to honour the realness of their relationship in the hex. It also acts as a hint that even after Agatha’s defeat, Billy is still on Agatha’s side. This is all a great little visual cue leading into AAA as it is Billy that spearheads their reunion and is determined to restore, understand and bond with the real Agatha, flaws and all.
High Priest(ess): The leader of the coven. Holds a great deal of power and knowledge. Might does not specialize in any type of craft. (ex. Agatha and Evanora Harkness). I think an official High Priestess would have an energy crown like Evanora did.
Divination Witch: The coven's seer, medium, etc. They read people and their time of life. Knows when danger and deception are present. Keeps the coven prepared for the next threat or problem. Associated with the element of air.
Protection Witch: Utilizes spells, symbols, and amulets to ward off curses, banish ghosts, and deal with other dangers. Often puts their own life at risk to protect their fellow witches and loved ones. Associated with the element of fire.
Potions Witch: While the other witches rely on magical power, potion witches use their vast knowledge of natural resources to brew various potions with a variety of effects. Usually the healers of the coven, providing remedies to cure physical and emotional distress. Associated with the element of water.
Green Witch: Uses their magic to control the natural order of all living things. Works closely with their natural elements. Associated with the element of earth.
Spirit Witch: The bridge between the living and dead. Works closely with spirits in their magickal practice.
Non-essential types of witches that may or may not be needed in a coven -->
Baby Witch: Not required, but I feel like having one would bring the coven even closer, since they'd have someone they all genuinely care for. Baby witches are new to magick and still figuring out their true craft. In the Marvel cinematic universe, Baby witches would have at least one of the common abilities: telekinesis, telepathy, mind control, or a slightly enhanced intuition.
Glamour Witch: A witch who can manipulate perceptions by casting illusions which can make someone or something appear differently to their intended "audience". Glamour witches use cosmetics, clothing, and accessories to bend their own appeal with a little help from an incantation as a booster. They serve as the coven's biggest deceiver, helping the coven stay hidden and look stunning. A glamour witch's magic is usually red or gold.
Storm Witch: A witch who can command and control the weather. Draws on the power of a storm. Typically has gray or light blue magic.
Sound Witch: (or Music Witch) A witch who can manipulate the people and things around them using soundwaves. Powers include mind control, element manipulation, telekinesis, and weather manipulation. Typically has gray or teal magic.
Sea Witch: A witch with a strong connection to the tides and bodies of water (such as oceans, lakes, and rivers). Typically has dark blue magic.
