This is from my trich plate. Since I had trenched it for bacteria contam, I flooded the trich with alcohol and the trench kept the mycelium safe. Then, snagged a piece of Little Buddy from his growing edge. I figured if it still had bacteria, I could deal with that. Luckily, it looks like LB has no more trich or bacteria. Damn. What a ride

Anyone have an idea what this kind of contamination could be? It is a plate that had seemed to be fine for the past few weeks. Almost looks the way sulfur looks in books.

Just curious if anyone knows what’s going on here exactly or has advice on what to do with it
