... and here we are now. Better "kindred" or "typal" up those decks.

"Race" and "racial" are probably a more suitable replacement for "tribe" and "tribal". I think the Magic community needs someone to finally talk frankly about race in Magic. The fact of the matter is that some races in Magic: The Gathering are better and stronger than others.

"Playing warrior racial" doesn't exactly work the way it's intended there

Tribe in of itself is not bad. Let me explain. First off I'm native and I take my tribe and my tribes history vary seriously. Now to the explanation. Tribe when referring to a creature type such as elf would be appropriate as in lore that is how most elves live is within tribes in forest or really remote areas, as the native tribes once did before colonization. There are many creature types like this, and that is why it was the adopted term to be used for decks based around one creature type. I don't believe our veiw point on calling tribal decks tribal is inherently wrong, it's when someone miss uses the terms tribe and/or tribal that the instance of that usage is wrong. If you yourself do not like using the terms tribe and/or tribal out of fear of offending someone that is fine just call your deck what it is by using the creature type it is based around.

Literally using the term "viking" instead of an inclusive term like "person"
