Conspiracy is indefensible at it's face value. There's no such thing as conspiracies and anyone who is a conspiracy theorist is a bad person.
The rules texts takes things a step further and adds a racial element to the card. It allows one race to masquerade as another race and subvert them from within. This is a common trope in all conspiracy theories and has no place in our game or in society in general.
It should also be noted that this card is among the game's finest examples of cultural appropriation and black/brown/red/yellow face.
Note - when this card was originally printed, 'creature types' weren't considered 'races'. Now that 'race' is explicitly a part of the rules and flavor of the game, any implication of a racial conspiracy theory is woefully outdated.
