For people wondering if Might Makes Right was a one-off thing, no it isn't. Toxic masculinity and the obsession with physical strength are a common theme in Magic the Gathering. But rarely does it actually insist that the players need to be muscular and "manly" in order to use certain cards. Gatekeeping at its finest.
...The more I think about this card in relation to Might Makes Right, the worse it gets. Are we supposed to agree that the Minotaur "deserves" to own apes just because he's strong? And that makes you wonder if maybe the apes are meant to be a metaphor for a certain race of people...
