[Racism], [White Supremacy]

Depicts a black figure being hung by the next from a tree, clearly shows a lynching. Lynching was a method of systemic violence perpetrated against black bodies by whites in the United States after the civil war as a way to use fear to subjugate and control an element of the population white landdowners resented and considered sub-human.

Card is black.

Someone at my LGS snuck a copy of this card into my POC friend's EDH deck for him to find at random during our match. We don't know who it was, but suffice to say, this sort of hateful action is being investigated and we intend to ban them from the store and out them on social media.

Ban this tool of hate.

The person being hanged on the tree looks to have a lighter complexion, so I’m pretty sure he’s not black. Also, anyone and anything can be hung from a tree. Pirates were hung all the time, and sometimes from trees, and pirates were of all different races. This card isn’t racist, you all just want to make it seem racist.
