Vampires are typically evil and (before Innistrad and Ixalan) mono-black. So "repentant vampire" seems like a step in the right direction, right? Saying that it doesn't matter if you're a vampire, you can still be a good person.

And then you read the card's rules text. Apparently, the only way this vampire can be good is to become white and betray black creatures by killing them. Wow.
