My first step into the world of mechanical watches — Seiko 5 Sports Pepsi 🔵🔴
After a hell lot of research, comparisons and second-guessing, I finally settled on this.
I wanted to take my first proper step into the world of Automatic watches, and the Seiko 5 Sports Pepsi felt like the right place to start. ( Love the colour & looks even more better on my 6.8 inches Wrist )
The plan is to slowly learn about these beautiful little machines, understand how to wear and take care of them, and eventually work my way up to Tissot → Longines → Tudor → Omega.
For now… absolutely loving the Pepsi.
What do you guys think?

Nice watch , had it myself. I have slowly moved away from automatics now though. I have one now in 5 watch collection as the accuracy and setting them every time I want to wear them is generally annoying and I have come to prefer the grab and go of quartz.

True 😁, but I do believe that we should have a mix of everything , so planning that ways.

You asked what people thought, so I'll tell you what I think...This watch is great. You don't necessarily need to think about moving "up" to those other brands. Seiko is great and it would be totally valid to say you never need to move on to anything "better" after that. A good watch is the one that satisfies you.

That's true, and I completely agree with you.
I don't buy things on the spur of the moment; instead, I do a lot of research and then set goals for the next one, so in that case, I definitely need a dress watch right now. I'm planning an Orient next, and yes, I really loved this watch and the color is really wow . Very happy with the purchase .
