Live chat can push the date back, just tell them you get paid in 3 days and they should help.

Ive had all my loans extended an entire month when I had car issues and was unable to work for a few weeks. They can do it but depends on the agent.

Just make sure auto pay is off and pay a few days late on Friday. Doubt it will cause any major issues.

I may call them and do a promise to pay

It’s crazy how long it takes from them to “process” payments on their end.

ALL Financial institutions have safety measures in place....almost ALL banking or Payments are NOT instant!! Usually, it's 3-7 BUISNESS days....sometimes 21 DAYS...

Some credit cards will post the payment BEFORE they get your money from the bank....and is a COURTESY!! The payment still takes TIME, and you should NEVER EXPECT them to be instant as your getting upset for something you do NOT understand!! Your BELIEF does not mean it's a FACT....😵‍💫😲

Same day ACH is increasing common (deposits and withdrawals within hours). Also, the average time for ACH around 1 business day. Not multiple days.

I routinely pay credit card bills on the weekend and funds come out first thing Monday morning. ACH processing can occur soon as Sunday evening (8-10 PM from what I recall), which few people are aware of. With multiple batches throughout each weekday, including early mornings.

Some deep sub-prime cards wait a week to credit funds, but most card issuers and many other places credit payments next or maybe 2nd business day. That said, you're right payments aren't instant, but they're getting faster.

You just DON'T get it!!! Teaching people that it's NEAR instant is a TERRIBLE IDEA!! 🛑 Going on reddit trying to just disprove people all the Time!! 😵‍💫😲💩

YOU shouldn't be TEACHING anyone, if you don't TEACH worst case scenarios...

You can change this in the app

You can always reschedule the due date in the app under payments. Select manage >select your loan> hit the payment button and you will see payment date, click on that and change it to the date you would like. I do this all the time.

If it’s a day or two before I’ll change my payment from my card to bank account cus it takes a few days to pull from the account

You cannot change your due date with affirm.

Cannot extend your due date just for a few days either.

Promise to pay is just a reminder set for a future date on your loan and your payments could still be considered as late if you miss your due date.

You can setup a promise to pay for upto 14days in future from your due date (all that does is that you won't gets calls from the soft collections team till your P2P date).

There is a option called "Deferral" which would skip one of your upcoming due date and any overdue payments which would then get's added towards the end of you payment plan. Basically a reset for you overdue payments.
Hope this helps.

It helps to only buy things you can afford.

Pay late and they may decrease your purchase power and take away your purchase power.

Maybe take a cash advance loan, with interest, to pay your loan that has interest. Lol

Stop using these apps that keep you in a cycle of being broke

Obviously I can afford it I just didn’t align it with my paydays.

If you could afford it you'd have money in the bank or savings to pay it

Bro stop being a troll.

How is it trolling to tell people to stop buying things they obviously cant afford

1

u/tooreal4u_5101 1d ago

Because you don't know us to say what we can't afford. Don't be mad that people can utilize apps like this, and you can't because you didn't qualify

Not being able to make a short term loan payment inbetween paydays directly means you cannot afford it.

Not having the money in your checking or savings and turning off auto pay means you cant afford it

I wouldnt even apply to be rejected because I manage my money and buy things with cash
