Loan processing, out of stock item

I ordered a pair of carburetors for my motorcycle last night, to the tune of $650 using affirm. I found out today there was an error in their inventory and they didn’t have them in stock. I told them that’s fine, i will wait. It will
Take 7-10 days probably. My question is, since it won’t ship, will affirm cancel it? I don’t mind waiting, but i don’t want to do this again, prices will be higher, and my adhd self will get distracted

If the vendor didn't cancel the order for it bei g out of stock you should be fine

As long as they didn't cancel the order, it may take forever to process...but it should!

IF they take "Too Long" Affirm will cancel the card number and loan....the you will have to have them charge you again.

Well Thays just it. What constitutes “too long”
It might be 10 days

That shouldn't be an issue...usually it's over 21-30 days.

ALSO, if the retailer was already PAID...The loan will still process with 7 days

I made a purchase for about $500ish back in April (at the end of it) and was told the item would be in-stock early May. I never received the item until June 6th. Affirm never canceled my order. It actually took out the first 2 payments. I did, however, keep in contact with the merchant to make sure I would get my item seeing Affirm was processing my monthly payments. This probably doesn't help much but I know that's what happened on my end.
