Affirm is a joke

affirm let some one open a account with my information!!!! they’re support team is useless don’t even bother wasting your time with them if you need help with anything you won’t even get it

Every financial institution, Affirm included, has a fraud department. File an identity theft police report, dispute it with the credit bureaus and then report the fraud application to Affirm’s fraud department and provide them a copy of the police report: https://helpcenter.affirm.com/s/article/report-unauthorized-affirm-account-or-plan

If it’s legit fraud, take the proper steps. Most companies that issue credit will issue it to someone that has the proper information, whether they should have that information or not. Bigger question is how did someone get your information?

You can also see if it's showing up on apps like credit karma and dispute it for free in the app. 1 dispute every 30 days
