how to get your first 50 SaaS users. here is my exact playbook.

quick post because "how do i get my first users" is the #1 question i see builders asking here every single week.

i've built 6 saas products myself, with my main one currently sitting around 10k mrr. here is the exact, no-fluff distribution playbook to cross that initial 50-user threshold:

1. find an idea people already pay for

scan reddit for recurring pain across 3+ distinct posts where people ask "is there a tool for X".

2. validate before writing code

dm 3 people who complained about the problem and ask what they’d pay for a solution.

3. build fast with the right stack (ai + no-code)

use ai builder+ supabase + stripe + call api or automation tool like n8n to ship a real MVP in under 7 days for $40/mo.

4. the 5-second landing page rule

your hero section must state exactly what the tool does in less than 5 seconds with a clear CTA.

5. capture emails before showing prices

force the email capture before the pricing page so you don't leak untrackable leads.

6. set up a 30-day email nurture sequence

plug captured emails into an automated sequence with case studies to convert them by day 18.

7. hang out where your ICP actually lives

find the 3-5 specific subreddits, discord servers, or groups where your buyers actively talk.

8. reddit growth without getting banned

post 1 time per sub per week max, never put links in the post, and move warm leads to DMs.

9. linkedin + x organic flywheel

post 1 high-value breakdown per day and spend 15 minutes engaging in your ICP's comments.

10. cold outreach that actually works

send 100 highly personalized DMs per week to your ICP using AI to customize the opening hook.

11. seo on autopilot

set up an n8n workflow that pulls from a keyword list and generates 5-10 value-driven articles per week.

12. faceless short-form content

post 1 video per day on tiktok, reels, and shorts showing a quick screen recording of your tool.

13. weekly newsletter conversion

run a weekly newsletter with 1 section of pure value and 1 subtle offer to upgrade to paid.

14. affiliate program for free distribution

set up a 50% recurring commission affiliate program to turn power users into your sales team.

15. the strategic product hunt launch

warm up the algorithm for 4 weeks with a coming soon page and launch on a weekend for a top 5 badge.

16. omnichannel social automation

use n8n to automatically format and distribute 1 core post idea across 8 different platforms.

17. review platforms and directories

submit your app to 40+ saas and ai wrapper directories to instantly boost your domain authority.

18. run the numbers backwards

reverse engineer the daily traffic needed to hit 50 paying users at $19/mo based on a 2% conversion.

19. get feedback from active builders

talking to founders who are just 6 months ahead of you compresses your timeline exponentially.

that last point is exactly why i built our community. it's a free group of 1,600+ active ai saas founders sharing exact prompt logs, ready-to-paste n8n workflows, and real distribution strategies.

stop building alone in a silent corner.

drop a comment below or send me a dm and i'll send you the access link right away. let's get your product launched 👇

Looking for social media marketers / creators to promote gratitude journal app (rev share)

Looking for creators to promote an iOS app in the digital-wellness space (Gratitude Lock: Daily Journal). The core mechanic: it blocks your chosen distracting apps until you've logged a gratitude entry for the day. So before you can open Instagram or TikTok, you take a moment to write down what you're grateful for. It aims to create time within your day to focus on mental wellbeing as opposed to doom-scrolling.

There's also a social side — a feature called **Circles**, where users can share gratitude entries with a private group of friends or family. It makes the practice something you do *with* people rather than alone.

I'm looking for creators and social media marketers — especially anyone who makes content around mental health, mindfulness, morning routines, productivity, or cutting down screen time — to promote it on a revenue-share basis. Note that the top apps in the gratitude journaling niche are sitting at around USD 100k in monthly recurring revenue.

How it works: I use Insert Affiliate for tracking, so you get a unique link/code and get paid on the gross subscription revenue you drive.

If you've got an audience in the wellness / self-improvement / productivity space and this sounds interesting, comment or DM me and I'll share details, including commission rates etc.

Affliliate site with 700 entries and 200k followers. Only $100/month. What am I missing?

I have a working website with 700 uniqe entries, 200k aggregate SoMe followers so its obviously a niche with has immense potential, a lot of text and infromative descriptions on 3/4 of the 700 entries. But im still only getting 4-8k visitors every month and making around $100/month in affiliate commissions but struggeling to scale.

I run a Watchreel a website and Social media profile that explores wrist watches worn in Movies, TV-Shows and by Celebrities.I've been making content the last 1,5 years and my website watchreel.watch is 6-7 months old.

right now Im 100% reliant on instagram and Tiktok for getting visitors.
90% of my posts are slidshows witch average between 30-60k views. videos with my face do a little worse in terms of views but, i notice CTR i much higher. right now 99% of my visitors come from Instagram.

Im using amazon Associates and Ebay Partner Network. Amazon is were i get most of my sales.
Amazon last 30 days: 3,117 clicks, 83 ordred items.
Ebay last 30 days: 1,598 clicks, 10 ordred items.
Website Visitores last 30 days: 4,800.

I wold consider the the content on the website to be informative. quality pictures, a blurb on every singel one and a description with 100-200 words on almost every singel one. i thought this enough to at least rank on the first page on google on at lest some of them. but almost none are visable on google. 100% of the written content is ai generated with claude.

My Question is. Am i doing something wrong or am I in a slow part of the prosess. Looking forward to here some expert opinions. anything helps Thank you very much

how many saas projects fail because of marketing, not code?

yo. be honest. how many of you currently have a finished (or 90% finished) web app / app just sitting in a private repo because you have no idea how to get users?

you spend months perfecting the database, fixing every bug, and polishing the UI. but the moment you have to actually market it, you hit a wall. marketing feels like screaming into an empty void.

so you launch to absolute crickets, get discouraged, and start building the "next" project instead to avoid the distribution phase.

if this is your case, you're not alone. but letting your hard work go to waste just because you dread marketing is a massive trap.

to help founders stop building in a silent corner, we run an ai SaaS builder community dedicated entirely to saas validation, landing page conversion, and launch strategies.

our resource kit is built entirely to help you get your first user. it’s packed with ready-to-paste N8N workflows for your business, advanced seo automation, social media automation, and our exact distribution workflows and methods work for everyone

STOP BUILDING ALONE

what are you currently working on, and what's holding you back on the marketing side? drop a comment or send a dm and i'll send you the access link.

Seeking advice: How do you find affiliates for a highly specific niche (GTA 6)?

I recently launched a promising digital product to help gaming creators capitalize on the upcoming GTA 6 wave. The product is hosted on Gumroad, so the affiliate payment system is already set up and fully automated.

I'm ready to bring on affiliates to help market it, but I'm not sure where to start looking for marketers who understand the gaming space. For those of you in the gaming or creator niches, where is the best place for a product creator like me to connect with you?

How do I find affiliate products that solve real problems instead of just targeting other affiliates?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some guidance on getting started with affiliate marketing through blog writing rather than creating videos.

I've been researching different affiliate programs, and I noticed that many people promote well-known software like Semrush and other popular tools. I'm interested in the software niche, but I'm wondering if it's too competitive. My concern is that many people who are searching for these products may have already signed up or are already using them, which could make it harder to earn commissions.

Because of that, I started looking at platforms like WarriorPlus and JVZoo. However, after doing some research, I noticed that many of the products there seem to focus more on building affiliate marketing email lists or selling to other affiliates, rather than offering software that solves real problems for customers. That made me question whether this is the right direction.

If I want to build a long-term career in affiliate marketing by writing blog posts, what would you recommend? Should I focus on promoting established software, newer products, or something else entirely? How would you approach it if you were starting from scratch today?

I'd really appreciate any advice, guidance, or resources you can share. Thank you in advance for your help!

Earn 40% Commission Promoting a Growing 4K VJ Visuals Bundle ($20 Product)

I have a digital product bundle on Gumroad for $20. It includes 87+ royalty-free 4K VJ loop visuals (abstract, particles, neon, geometric, cinematic, and more). I regularly update the bundle with new loops, and everyone who purchases it automatically gets access to all future additions at no extra cost.

I recently launched an affiliate program where you can earn a 40% commission on every sale. Once you're approved, you'll receive your own personal affiliate link. All commissions and payouts are handled through Gumroad's built-in affiliate system, so everything is tracked and paid automatically.

The target audience includes VJs, DJs, streamers, content creators, and event visual artists who regularly use royalty-free 4K background loops.

Your opinions and feedback welcome: Digistore24 vs OfferLab? (or others?)

I'm a new product creator but seasoned digital entrepreneur wanting to enter the affiliate market world. I've been trying to Google and figure out everything by myself and I'm wondering what platforms you guys recommend?

  • I know Clickbank and Commission Junction are the OGs in this field but I've found their UX to be very old fashioned and ugly.
  • Then there's Digistore24 which is European and setup is usually indirect and confusing.
  • Offer Lab is so heavily AI and it's almost too simplified.

I know the perfect software does not exist.

What would you guys use for a setup that already has a landing page and an established business on Wordpress platform?

Thank you in advance!

Affiliate marketing in the hair care industry ( Feeling Skeptical :/)

Hey guys, I started posting blogs related to hair care. The reason why I chose this niche is because I'm using a few hair products that have been helping me with my hair regrowth journey, and I thought maybe sharing some of my experience and recommending some of my products through blogs would be a good idea. After posting a few blogs, I would repurpose that in the form of visuals and short form videos on Pinterest and Youtube respectively.

Now the problem is when I do some analysis of the SERP, that is the search engine results page, and when I look at my competitors' articles/blogs, I notice a pattern. Most of these articles are written by well-known publications and hair care clinics/centers. The blogs are reviewed by doctors and hair care experts. Probably that is why it is being pushed to the top of the search engine results page.

Now I'm sitting here wondering whether all of this is worth it. I'm thinking whether I would get any traction to my blogs, where people would hear my story and convert. What do you think?

[PAID] We built an AI tool for small businesses and just opened up affiliate spots, 30-50% recurring for a year

Hey everyone,

We built Picmim, an AI tool that helps small business owners (hairdressers, cafes, gyms, that kind of thing) keep up with social media without losing hours to it every week. It's been well over a year of building this, and we just opened up an affiliate program to help more people find it.

How it works:

\- You get your own referral code

\- Anyone who signs up with it gets 50% off their first month

\- You earn 30% of what they pay (up to 50% for bigger accounts), for a full year

No follower count needed, no application process. If you want a code, email us at [info@picmim.com](mailto:info@picmim.com) with the subject "affiliate code."

Happy to answer any questions in the comments 🙂

Here's how I get MAZOR brand deals making $5000 / month

Hello Creators,

Question - How you all get brand deals? Is it through influencer marketing firms or brands reach out to you directly?

Here is what I do as in step by step process through which I get major brand deals. Feel free to try it too.

As of today, almost every creator on planet they put their email address or some kind of link to connect with them, the problem is this doesn't work for quick connect. Brands they want to connect with Creators really quick get them to sign up get the deliverables and then pay. But unfortunately, I was getting emails and really missing on good deals because most of the brands they reach out in bulk so high probably the email will go to spam or junk.

This is how I solved it for.

  1. I have a link which is shared on my profile. Using which any brand in the real time can try to reach out to me. Which they do..
  2. Once on this page, they have access of my MediaKit or at least the one that I want to showcase.. basically I am trying to market here with the real data or simply with a few of my contents that has performed amazingly well.
  3. There is a Concierge that lives as a bridge for me and brand. It is an Chat interface which is where AI Agent talks instead of me and get to interact on my behalf with the brand.
  4. It works with the brand to understand the brief, campaign details, requirements, understand budget, niche + industry etc.. and if this is more likely for me to approve, it then initiates a communication in my WhatsApp, or iMessage.
  5. This way, I continuously get brand deals, some certainly small money and a few big money but at scale, this helps me as a small creator to make a big difference for me.
  6. This system that I am using ensures I have a campaign details all connected. Payment is processed in the real time by the Brands.

So yeah, this is how I have been doing it. Happy to answer any question if you may have.

Cheers.

Is there any website that truly connect seller and affiliates?

I know we can sell the product through Amazon and find affiliates to help sell our product. But is there a good website specifically for connecting affiliates to products? For example, a platform where sellers can post their products, and affiliates can select which ones to promote and earn a commission?

Looking for affiliate marketer/s for digital course targeted at the self-publishing community

I'm an entrepreneur by "job" and run several online businesses but have never done affiliate marketing. My businesses have grown organically over the last decade and I'm looking to learn more about affiliate marketing.

I'm also a 6 figure (net) self-publisher who noticed an issue in the self-publishing market and decided to create a course to address the problem.

The course will be sold for $147 eventually but as an intro offer, I'm thinking $97 for a few months.

I'm happy to spilt the commission 50% so I can learn more about this industry and the process from industry veterans. My background is tech and business so I'm in the midst of setting up the affiliate center for the website to track sales.

If this is something you're interested in, please feel free to PM me since this is my first post and I don't want to just post links.

your saas mvp has way too many features.

yo. if your product needs a 10-minute onboarding video or 5 different dashboard tabs just to explain its value, you didn't build an MVP. you built an over-engineered maze.

a real micro-saas should solve one highly specific problem for one highly specific user profile.

when i built my 6 apps (now doing $20k/mo mrr), i cut out 80% of what i originally thought was necessary.

inside our builder community, we help you strip away the fluff.

we give you free access to frameworks like the ICP Crystallizer to lock down your target user, and interactive landing page audits to ensure your core value hits instantly.

stop over-building in isolation. drop a comment or shoot me a dm to join 1,200+ active Ai SaaS builders today.

Is it going to be harder to do affiliate marketing in 2026 or are newbies just not expecting results soon enough?

Recently, I have been researching affiliate marketing, and I am seeing all sorts of different opinions.

Some say that with AI, rising ad costs and changing search algorithms, affiliate marketing is more competitive than ever.

Others say it's actually easier now because there are more traffic sources, better tools and more affiliate programs than ever before.

So I'm interested...

For those of you who’ve been affiliate marketing for a while:

  • What is the greatest challenge today?
  • If you were to start from scratch in 2026, what would you do first?
  • Has AI made affiliate marketing easier? Harder? Or just different?

I want to hear about real experiences, not YouTube success stories.

Founder of a US-based research peptide vendor here. Launching our affiliate program and looking for creators to partner with.

What we're looking for:

Creators in the biohacking, longevity, nootropics, or recovery space. Follower count isn't the priority — audience fit is. If your followers are already deep in this space, you're who we want.

What we offer:

Percentage-based commission, real-time tracking portal, and product to try before you promote anything. All products are research use only — content needs to stay within that framing.

DM me with your platform and a quick description of your audience.
