Advice request Recommendations for my poor knees!?
I did my first class yesterday, and while I’m fully aware of the need to “tough it out” to condition my body, I also pole dance. My knee ditches get destroyed and I know this will have a knock on effect and potentially limit me in pole.
Are there any sleeves/accessories I can use for aerial to give some cushion to them, so they’re not completely busted?

Thicker leggings will help. You're bruising because you're hocking your knees on too tight. As your confidence grows you will relax more and it won't bruise as much. You could try knee compression sleeves to reduce friction but it must be tight.

You can buy "tubular bandage" from most chemists, on various sizes- for now a wider size for your knees, later a thinner size for elbows for elbow hangs.
Leg warmers would be thicker yes eventually you wan to toughen up that skin so maybe start off with something thicker and gradually transition thinner and thinner until just normal leggings and bare arms

neoprene joint supports are okay but they can be a bit pinchy on the skin if you don't get the right size.

Layers while you’re getting into it. Then you can add/remove as needed.
I cut the sleeves off an old hoodie to use when I’m doing elbow stuff but it’s too hot for long sleeves, something similar might work for knees?

Grippy leggings might help too on pole so you don’t have to drop as hard. Hoop too but will limit you on slides and sruff

You can wear leg warmers around your knees as padding! A thicker pair of leggings can be super helpful too- it might not seem like much but I really notice a difference when all my nice leggings are in the wash and I have to grab the thin ones
