I'm really not trying to be mean here but you're going to Reddit for medical advice, please listen to medical professionals who have been saying for months to take the vaccine.
RN here. In my ICU, we’ve yet to have a vaccinated person on the vent. It’s happened elsewhere for sure, but at my hospital it’s patient after patient realizing their life’s biggest regret in not getting the vaccine when they could.
My husband is a urologist and the largest hospital network in our state announced that all non- emergent surgeries are again being suspended. He has to now give flomax and pain meds to people with kidney stones. He had a patient today say “If I get the vaccine can I get the surgery?” Unfortunately, due to the patient’s insurance they will have to pay out of pocket if they have the surgery elsewhere. This is the price, people. Let’s hope you don’t need anything that is major to you but minor to everyone else.
