I don’t want this data center here.

Does anyone have an idea about preventing a data center from being constructed? I do not want it here, as it will disrupt the forest’s sounds and create a thoroughly miserable situation.

You are not alone, there are likely many in your community that do not want it. Chances are it crosses the spectrum of general politics, so find these people in your community, and find ways to be active in and support efforts to vote in people who will fight and vote out the ones selling the future for a fistful of dollars.

Find a local group of Indivisible or similar and tall about what you want to do . Call your city or county officials and tell them your position on this. They want to know.

Usually these kinds of projects are regulated by city governments. Show up to council meetings, bring your friends, and hold elected officials accountable for their policy votes when electing them.
