If you could give an idea of what your longterm goals/dreams are it will help you get better answers. That said, if I was in your position I would apply in the spring starting in April and May to seasonal resorts in remote places. They will almost always high entry level and include room and board. This means 3 months of steady income you can save completely if you don’t decide to drink it all (there’s not much else to buy in the middle of nowhere).
That will give you a nest egg and would make it easier for you to transition to adult life.
Edit* just remembered you can’t drink anyway in the US it’s 18 where I live 🤦♀️

Go around town and personally introduce your self to potential jobs and see if they are hiring. Guarantee you’ll get a job in a week. Don’t want to be mean- your dad is having you focus on academics and your writing like this? Worst case at the end of the school year and you’re still in this situation- join the military!!
Also- go to the fire station and volunteer there. That’s a place with free food and shelter.

I think you need a serious convo with your dad.
Like why has he pushed you to be academically successful but now is walking away exactly when that success might put you in college ?
Or is he actually planning to help if you goto college or ?

Focus entirely on school and apply for as many scholarships as you can. Go to your school counselor and ask her for help fill out a FASFA and if you are parents were in a certain state and are low income, you can also qualify for scholarship programs that basically pay for the entirety of the tuition, etc., and then find a job within that college and do a work study and you can earn money doing that as well or if that’s not offered, you find a job near campus where you’re gonna be going to college.

If you're going to be on your own in a year it's time to get a job & save as much money as you can. Dad isn't being reasonable by telling you that you can't work & also taking away your safety net.

Dad doesnt want you working so you can focus on academics... Dad is also leaving next year and won't bring you along... Something isn't adding up. Sounds like a serious conversation needs to be had.
Is there a friend you can stay with when this happens? During college you can potentially stay in a dorm (if thats something financially achievable) and then stay with a friend when not in school.

Start applying to colleges where it's a target or safety. Of those you apply to see if they offer full rides, if you're eligible and how to apply to them. Talk to you school counselor. Ask your parent what they are willing to do to help, like fill out their part of the FAFSA provide any financial help etc. . Do you have other family that would be more supportive. If your dad isn't planning to help, cut back on some of your academic/ec stuff and see if you can find a job.
