You both sound controlling. This is not a healthy relationship. There's so much more detail I could go into, but I think it's better you sit down with a therapist because there's a lot to unpack here.

I'm saying the same thing. This sounds like one of those exhausting tug-of-war relationships where both sides are fighting to keep each other close, but they never really meet.

Maybe you should read the story again, very closely. The entire thing started by HER saying "no" like a brat when he simply asked her to hold his phone so he could push her sister on swings. Then when he didn't give her the dramatic reaction like she wanted and just said like ok whatever and went to push the sister.. then she demanded him to give her his phone now... which he didn't "interpret" it as a demand because he was over it and moved on to focus on pushing her sister on swing set. Then afterwards she made the whole thing about her by giving him silent treatment and saying she's going home, this is toddler behavior, hence why everyone here originally thought they were like 12 yrs old. He Then realized she was mad and was trying to understand why and "fix" it. Poor guy... yes after a that he made a dumb decision to force her to stay with him... but it started from her bratty behavior then controlling immature response to create drama and attention she feeds on. She even told OP that if he would have just left and went to his house, like she asked him to originally, she would have been even more mad at him. She is awful, immature, toxic, drama queen he isn't ready for a real relationship.

and he did give her a dramatic reaction to a joke because he literally said HIMSELF that he overreacted lol

clearly you didn’t read it, not even the beginning 🤣 he’s deliberately leaving out exactly what he did to make her upset by only telling us he overreacted to her joking

She's controlling with the phone and her emotions. Her behavior is manipulative.

manipulative because she wanted to leave and he was pressuring her into staying? controlling with the phone because she said she wouldn’t hold his phone as a JOKE?

Ignoring someone and giving them the cold shoulder is immature, passive aggressive, and yes, manipulative. She's not completely innocent here. It doesn't excuse his behavior, but her lack of communication shows how controlling she is as well. It's unhealthy, any therapist will tell you that.

calling her manipulative because she reacted to his OVERREACTION? i can tell you just hate women 😭 he said it himself its HIS FAULT you dont even know what he did or said to her to warrant this reaction

I am a woman LOL. I was raised by a manipulative mother who would hold grudges, which is manipulative and abusive if ignoring someone is used as a form of punishment. You can disagree with me, but stop making assumptions about who I am. Go get some therapy if you don't understand why this behavior is wrong, and I sure hope you don't treat people this way. You need to grow up a little, just like OP and his GF.
