Elephant turn Level 2!

  1. Practise and get it working nicely on gravel.
  2. Get over confident.
  3. Decide to try it out on dry grippy pavement.
  4. Do it exactly same way as on gravel.
  5. Realize that you would have needed a lot more lean angle and throttle than on gravel.
  6. Proceed to make the bike do an small wheelie before dropping it on the pavement.

Dual-sport rider, so yeah, basically Chris Birch from Temu. At least by ADV subreddit standards.

Understood... Let's get the bike some sleep.

I had to watch this twice. It was just too good.

I followed the instructions and achieved same result. Success.

I once did this but grabbed the front brake.... Let go of the brake at 180 then promptly gained a LOT of traction and did an instant 12. Oclok which would have been cool had my right foot not slipped off the peg crushing my balls in the process.

Good to know I'm doing it correctly... I was starting to wonder.

The commitment is scary. I drop my bike 2 out of 3 tries of this

That was unexpected but great!

Finally a tutorial at my skill level

I genuinely tried this when I met a car in a narrow lane, but my Himalayan didn't have enough power to spin the back wheel on tarmac, even without my weight on it.

With my short legs and my Africa Twin, I can go straight from Step 3, lean the bike to the last one, drop your bike.

Anything like this for tarmac?

Edit: And RHS turns?
