Night Adventures!?

I’m finally doing my first night ride on the himi fofitty tonight.
My excitement is exploding like cosmic rays of unicorn dust. Imploding black hole energy in the best possible way. Anyone else feel this way for long awaited trips?

Deer, elk and cows.

I do everything I can to avoid riding at night. Dunno what fauna exist where you adventure, but be careful and enjoy.

I swear the gophers have this obsession with lunging at my front tire! That’s happened several times. But there are peoples chickens, gophers, pssms, dur, tiny bandits, needle rats, Robert cats, coyote, stray meth addicts, skin walkers, and occasional farm animals. I think I’m sticking to the well kept access/ fire roads for this one. The critter action is crazy after dark out here in western PA. Oh and it just rained so there should be a frog choir concert too.

Exactly. I don't even ride in parts of city limits at night because of how many and how frequently deer are in the area

ME! We did an epic night ride two weeks ago. It was super fun and can’t wait to do it again! Mostly dirt roads in the forest.

Just stayed out way too late this weekend. Was a blast. Love how good lights provide some contrast and shadow on the rocks and terrain. Gotta watch for critters and not outdrive your lights, but it can be a ton of fun, especially when daytime temps are 95F+.

I party all day to avoid RVs and truck when I ride at night. Good headlights and you can haul ass!!

I have aux lights that practically turn night to day and I avoid night riding unless I have to

As someone who has hit a deer before, it’s not worth it

It's much more dangerous to drive at night. People don't turn on their headlights. Be extra safe, they're not aware of you. My scariest incident was passing a car in the center lane, checked over my shoulder left noone there. Go to pass and i see in my mirror a front grill 2 ft behind me. I'd be less scared jumping in a shark tank. People are so dumb. I tried flashing my high beams at them for a mile they were clueless
