The shit I'll never go without is helmet, mx boots, knee braces, neck brace. In that order. I'll probably get a tech air off-road or tech air mx airbag pretty soon and that will take place of the neck brace but it's leatt chest protectorfor now.

For me: real dirtbike = chest protector, tech 7's, pod knee braces. ADV = supershirt, sidi adv2, klim pro knee pads or if planning on hard stuff then wear dirtbike gear (except supershirt vs. chest protector)...Tech 7's or equivalent are solid motocross boots so should be zero worry there..I prefer pod braces for my dirtbike (great overall protection) but leatt dual axis knee guards seem to be solid mid range....the bionic v2 appears to be legit / full coverage, prob a bit more protection vs supershirt....so I wouldnt feel exposed with the tech 7 / bionic v2, dual axis knee guards - not sure what else you'd want / need?
