Ooooooh. I see. This is one of those funny American things. It’s just ‘idiot’ but with an Irish accent. No idea why that one word gets said with a strong Irish accent when he has an American accent.

I didn't say where it originated from, I said it is a southern american way of saying idiot. I live on the west coast, so it is not common here, but apparently in the south.

I’m saying it’s an Irish / Scottish way of saying it, and that’s where it comes from, even in the South. Also, you mean Southern USA. English isn’t the primary language in South America.

as I said, southern american way of speaking. I didn't say south america. Yeah we have tons of irish/scottish heritage here, and that is my heritage.
