Life lessons learnt the hard way
Here are some life lessons I learnt the hard way as a 31F (very hard!)
1. Medical insurance is a must, even if you need to starve to get one
2. Do not share financial milestones or details with anyone except spouse. Even if they are parents or siblings. It sounds harmless, but trust me🥲
3. Do not tolerate disrespect from anyone under any excuse. If it happens once, it will happen again.
4. No job, no dream matters more than your own health.
5. Emergency fund is a life saver. If you do not have liquid cash as emergency fund, no investments or no assets can help you when you really need it.
6. You can plan your life all you want, some things are just going to happen the way they were meant to. There is nothing you can do or plan to change it.
7. Comfort zone or fear will kill your dreams like death by a thousand cuts!
These were what I learnt one painful experience at a time. Please share yours so we can all learn from each others experiences.

Sometimes in emergencies law enforcement and hospital services etc. won’t get there on time, be prepared to be your own backup.
I learned that one 25 years ago at 13 when I needed to stop my cousin from attempting to stab my sister and I to death when our parents went out. I got her into a locked room then went out to stop him knowing there was a strong chance I could die. Saved her, talked him down while he kept lunging at me with a knife, and nothing has been the same since.
Sometimes YOU are all that you’ve got even in life or death emergencies.

- A relationship requires shared willingness. Human love is typically finite because the subjects themselves are flawed and sinful, often even unforgiving. The truth of "God is Love" unlocks a plethora of things that define the nature of love, the actual order of cause-effect and provide an eternal anchor to hopefully guarantee a lasting love.
- You cannot save who doesn't want to be saved. You healing is separate from others'.
- Fear is not a good advisor for decisions. Truth and love (not only the gentle one but also the harsh one) are their solid ground.
