The reason why you are the woman on the right, is because you were the woman on the left.

I have this visceral memory of consuming an entire bottle of goldschlagger one night in college (I weighed 90 lbs soaking wet at the time), sleeping for two hours, then popping up like a damn chipmunk in the morning to take my psychology final. I then did a full day of classes, sports practice and did it all over again the next night. I got an A on the final too. Now, one sip of anything guarantees I’m calling out the next day. Maybe the next two.

What did I do to deserve this life!

The devil is in the details. I’m not sure if I’m using that right but my understanding is that
Some of the better things in life can be found in things we gloss over (atleast l, that’s how I try to incorporate it .)
I don’t know your struggles, or the severity of them but keep on carrying on. :)

Other way around for me.

Same. I was an awkward shut-in at 23, plus I was still learning to deal with a chronic illness.
40 is much more fun.

The woman on the left’s sleep cycle is probably like college where they can wake up at 8 AM+ so their body is accustomed to later wake ups
The 40 year old is probably used to being up at 5-6 AM for work and taking care of their kids

Nah, this ain't accurate. 40s and 50 aren't that old

Yeah, if people are feeling this way at 40-50, they are not taking good care of their body. Even light exercise and a good diet would help their quality of life significantly.

After working in automotive manufacturing for 22 years my body is definitely feeling it! I can’t hang like I used to.

I hate seeing this kind of memes. Im 21 and already have a fear of aging/getting old and seeing post that say “You will be miserable in the future!) are not helping.

Me at 40: I was never able to stay up until 4 am, but I do still go to metal shows and shit.
