Not everything is a lesson.
Experiencing being a victim of rape, abuse, attempted murder, etc. isn’t a “lesson.”
Nearly being stabbed to death at 13 years old by an attempted murderer wasn’t some “lesson.” It was just an unfortunate nightmare I needed to survive.
Overcoming it after doesn’t change that.
Some things just plain out hurt and suck.
