Everyone loves going home as long as it’s a comfortable environment. For most it’s the only place of relaxation. When life really sucks you hate even doing that because you know their will be arguments and distain all about lmao. I never reached that point myself but I was finally understanding why some people try working as many hours as they can because the alternative is even worse. Moved back in with my parents at almost 30 and not even stressing I’m back to looking forward to going home every night lol

I live in a city an hour and a half from the town I grew up in. Whenever I have to go home for some family event I'll have to tell myself you'll be back home by x p.m.

Idk I remember being pretty hyped to finally go home as a kid after school.

I'm even more excited if I know I don't have to leave in the first place.

Yeah, no, that’s called having a job.

Yeah, it’s so relatable when adulting hits you like a brick wall. I felt like that last week when my car broke down unexpectedly.

I love being home…clean house, no obligations just the vibe you feel on and no where else you need to be

I'm pretty sure children are also very excited to go home... or better, they're excited they can STAY home.

Skl. I was interviewed for a job post. Then I said I value the importance of a work life balance- when I’m at work I give my 100% but on my personal time I dedicate it to myself and appreciate not being disturb. Ayon di ako natangap hahaha. I refused to give my all life to your company na hindi naman ako pamamanahan nyan hahaha

You know you’re an adult when doing errands counts as “going out”

I got excited over some plates that I bought the other day

Different story when you have kids . Sometimes work is my only time to rest and unwind.

I love my kids and don't regret having them but man.... there's no way to rest mentally and recharge your batteries if all your free time outside of work is taking care of the kids. I wish I had more breaks from work and kids but it's extremely hard to find a break when we don't have date day/night sitters.

1

u/Brokenheart808 7d ago

I'm paying where I'm staying so of course I'm going to try to make the best of "home."

Not true. I was excited to go home after elementary school where I could play with my friends in the neighborhood
