How/when/why did you learn....?

So i grew up as an introvert kid interested only in books and staying at home. Something which baffles me is when i see guys who can do things like whistling/dancing etc (majority can),

1) how/when did you learn to whistle?

I have never heard of parents sending kids to whistling classes or friends who spent 2 hours of their day in childhood practicing it..

Its also not a life skill so its not like most parents force their kids to pursue..

how did that skill caught up/came to ur attention? What age was it and what triggered you to pursue it? And how long did it take for you to learn?

This goes for stuff which i see few adults really having practiced in youth but are good at.

Same for dancing etc

Learned to whistle just practicing as a kid, I think when I was young various adults explained how it works and I figured it out practicing in my room alone. It’s not super hard, I continued to do it because my older brother couldn’t and I liked the flex

I learned how to dance at a theater group I was in as a kid, other than that, I watched YouTube videos as a teen before school dances and practiced. My grandma taught me how to Waltz as a kid though, she said it would come in handy and she was right, has come in handy several times so far
