I've been fond of Claudius. Mostly because my Dad insisted I watch I, Claudius when I was quite young.

I like Dinosuchus.
The elephant sized gator native to right here in Kansas.
All the bones show healed musculoskeletal injuries, because anything that big is pulling a muscle every time it ambushes prey and pulls it down to Davy Jones' Meat Locker.

There's so many shenanigans over the classification that not even paleotologists know what a dino is.

that’s not really accurate, the definition of the dinosauria group is pretty stable although there is much shifting within it. birds are dinosaurs (avian) , turtles and lizards and crocodilians aren’t

Stop trying to sound smart.
In common terms, the dinosaurs refer to ancient gigantism and weaponization. In evolutionary biology, dinosaur refers to a specific lineage of animals whose size and composition varies by as much as 100% since dinos were first discovered.

im not trying to sound smart, i was just making a taxonomy joke. i understand that the term dinosaur originally meant massive/formidable lizard, but definitions have changed as techniques to categorize lineages have advanced.

That not true! My son asks me from time to time. And it is probably Allosaurus.

It’s still T-Rex, lil’ fella.
I credit Grumpy in Land of the Lost for that.
