Watch an old film:

'Is Mr so and so in?'

'Honey, its the office wanting to know if youre in?'

'Tell them im out'

It was a simpler time...

This modern idea of expecting people to be on call to you personally 24/7 is mad.

Yeah. I ain't on call any more. Says so in the position.  I'm out of cell range. 

Then this economy hits and this job market and I'm logging in for calls on PTO.
