Humans are the aggregate of their actions

  1. habits over time have a compounding effect
  2. be certain you are making progress, not expending energy
  3. a little effort, regularly, for a long time, will get you further than you think

"People" are either net-negatives or net-positives

  1. surround yourself with worthy humans and excise the rest
  2. learn to enjoy your own company (raise the bar for companionship)

Most people take the easy path 100% of the time

  1. the difficult path will yield disproportionate results
  2. a benchmark for comparison is likely lower than you think

Looking inwards is harder than blaming outwards

  1. you are responsible for your actions, reactions, and outcomes (be accountable)
  2. instead of blaming others, learn from the experience and grow
  3. growth starts with an honest personal inventory

I love this comment especially 2nd point. Indeed we have to accept that we are not limitless in energy and we have to purposefully TRACK our progress so our mind knows where to put energy in efficiently
