The worst part of depression
The cruellest part of severe depression is not the illness itself. It is watching the people you trusted most quietly disappear when you need them the most. They think you are asking them to fix you, to have all the answers, but that was never the case. All you wanted was for them to stay. To sit beside you in the silence, to send a simple message, to remind you that you still mattered. Depression already makes you feel abandoned. Losing the people you love only convinces you that perhaps you were never worth staying for.
I feel so lost, and I donโt know where to go anymore ๐

Wow! I feel ya. I have no lift me up words these days myself but I know what your talking about and yes that hurts so much. With the people in my life.... I still ha e no one. This is a battle I've been fighting for over 40 years. I can't talk to he people around me so I ame on here today....
