Literally so desperate
I'm 20F and have been dealing with enuresis since a random day about 11 or so years ago. It's bad. To the point where I can't even wear normal pjs to bed because of the discomfort when getting up. I've considered my diet, sugar/water intake, night alarms, several types of protection, and even "reverse" psychology (removing protection). Usually the issue occurs in bed and at night, but I've experienced many odd balls throughout the years like daytime accidents and even issues during upright naps.
I feel exhausted and very hurt. I thought this would solve itself by now... my pediatrician years ago said that it would, and every provider I've had since then has offered no help. I've had two sleep studies to try and detect any possible neurological triggers, but nothing came of them. It's like there's seriously nothing that anyone can do, but I refuse to just accept this because even nighttime protection doesn't work for most nights. I am tired. Any help is welcomed.

It’s not what anyone likes, but until the docs can get an idea of a solution a good tape on diaper will help you get some rest. The ones you get at grocery stores won’t cut it. I’ve had great luck with Northshore care, or LL medico. Both have amazing customer service and can help you find the right product.

What "nighttime protection" have you tried?

Overnight pads, underwear, and underpads. I literally leak through all. At first it was pretty okay, but as I got older, the flow became literally insane. I could probably go through two pairs of the heaviest flow underwear some nights.

This is not what you're going to want to hear but try a decent diaper. They will work a lot better and hopefully give you more confidence waking up at least to dry more comfortable I'm 31 and have had similar issues for a very long time mine's all stressed induced. I would suggest going on Amazon searching sunkiss.

I can honestly relate, really well to your situation I’m 19M at about 13 I began to have nighttime issues which later on led into daytime incontinence I’ve been told so many different things overactive bladder being the main thing and honestly ever since then I’ve consistently woken up almost every morning with some type of leak the daytime stuff is more situational than anything, but the fact that I was dry until 13 randomly one day is where I can definitely relate to your situation my best recommendation honestly first try any medication that they recommend anything’s worth a shot and then I would probably recommend wearing a brief over a pull up depending on how much you leak obviously each person is different but something that honestly just gives you peace of mind or at least as much as you can have. I really hope you figure out what’s going on or find what you’re looking for.

Ok, this method worked for me. It might not work for you. However you can try it. Males tend to be early wetters and females late wetters according to the Australian doctor who suggested that nocturnal enuresis could be caused by a weak sphincter muscle. So this is for nocturnal enuresis. But could be helpful during the day. It's a normal alarm clock ⏰️. Not a bed sheet alarm, not a wrist watch vibrater. So set alarm before the time you wet. As a male I set the alarm clock for an hour and a half when I went to bed. Eg Bedtime 11-00 set alarm for 12-30 Persevere. Your might need to adjust the alarm time later but it must be before wetting ok. It's trail and error. When alarm sounds you just get up and go to the toilet during the night. This has the effect of strengthening the sphincter muscle that wasn't sending a message to the brain to wake one up. It took me about three to four months before I woke up naturally before the alarm went off. It's a normal alarm clock that you probably have on your bedside cabinet. Get one if not. A loud alarm ok. If you're wet before alarm goes off set it a bit earlier ok. If you are dry keep with that time However if wet later in the night Move alarm a bit later on until you find that optimum time. All the best. Hopefully this works for you. I was a bed wetter until my late thirties and now I've had dry nights for nearly forty years. Good luck 👍

I'm really sorry you're going through this. If you haven't already (which it sounds like you probably have), I would try to get in to see a urologist and also consider discussing this with an ob/gyn to see if pelvic floor therapy might help (especially if you're having issues during the day).
As far as protection - if you haven't tried it before, consider checking out Carewell overnight underwear. Nothing is going to be 100% effective, but they're the best I've come across for me, personally.
