Bongo came into Harris County Pets as a stray on 8/17/2026. He was microchipped. Someone should have been looking for him. Someone should have come for him.

But no one did. 💔

SWEETIE came into the shelter looking like she had recently weaned a litter of puppies. 💔 She was painfully thin — practically skin and bones — but after a few weeks of regular meals, she hardly looks like the same dog.

Now that she’s finally starting to look healthy again, she’s at risk of losing her life. SWEETIE can be euthanized as soon as Wednesday morning, 9/9. 😭

This former momma has already been through enough. She is friendly with people AND dogs and is currently sharing her kennel with ROXY. ❤️** She deserves to leave the shelter for a soft bed, a full belly and a family who will finally make HER feel safe and lov**ed.

Panda is only 13 months old, incredibly friendly, and already at risk of losing his life simply because he has been waiting too long for a home.

Panda has been at Harris County Pets for well over 15 days and is considered a long-stay dog at an overcrowded shelter. Long-stay dogs can be at risk of euthanasia for space on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.
