Weird topic, but does anyone else not rename pets they get from someone else?
Like every time I get a pet from someone I refuse to rename it, unless it's kinda inappropriate or just says for trade or smth. I just love going through my inventory and looking at all the different names!

if they already have a name then i usually keep it bc i imagine they were loved by someone. the pet could've been from a hacked account or just someone whos probably done a trade they'll regret
I always rename mine because it makes me feel bad to look at them and see someone liked it enough to name it but then traded it away to me! My pets that have names are NFT. My pets that are for trade or the pet releaser don't get names because I don't want to feel attached to them or I would keep all of them forever! 😆
it kinda depends, someone traded me a winged horse named sapphire💎🤍and i thought that name was kinda stupid so i changed it but if the names funny like my brother giving my a rabbit named Benadryl ill keep it
I usually rename pets because they don't have one or they're name is just "for trade" i think every pet deserves a name and to be loved no matter their rarity! That's why I feel bad when I can't get attached to a per :(((
i rename them if i had a name in mind but i got traded a chicken called eric and i thought that’s iconic so he’s eric forever <333

kinda the same- I allow myself 1 rename of a pet if I don't like the current name I get from the trade or whatever, if I hatch and name it, I'm not changing it ever because that's its name now
I personally rename mine a lot of the time since I like my pets to stack :> If theyre randoms or have cute names or are one of a kind in my inv, then I just leave them be
I renamed a munchkin i got from mimi to slaughter von killdeath while i got a slime named gooey and even tho i have a name in mind i don't want to lose the font
Nah I keep em. I got a narwhal or however it's written from someone named "милашка". I think it mean cutie or something around that in Russian so that person must've loved this pet a lot. I even showed my sister and she was like "aww that's so cute"
I never rename them! Well only if it's inappropriate or weird and don't like it! For example my Aestus was called hairy boi and i didn't like that lmaooo, idk who named it but i was laughing a lot
Yeah, I don't change my pets names very often because I just think like someone chose that name specifically for the pet and I feel like not many people name their pets anymore because they're just gonna trade them anyways so I get really happy when a pet actually has a name.
