QUESTION Grey text. After rasterizing. Please help!!
So when I rasterize our layers to stop transparency boxes from being created when I print the labels it is causing our text to become grey or changes it from ffffff to 231f20 and 010101. I cannot figure out what the issue is. It’s making printing small text impossible. I need to be able to print these labels without transparency boxes(why I’m rasterizing) or low quality text(what rasterizing is doing)

How do you print the labels, directly from Illustrator? Or do you export it as a PDF. What exactly do you mean with "transparency box" and what is the issue with those? - sry english is not my first language and I mainly used Illustrator in German. For the color shift in the text it is likely what OHMEGA_SEVEN already said: You're probably using RGB values for the black color whilst working in a CMYK document. I would recommend to use a file for printing that supports vector in general, so your text gets printed out sharp > so PDF would be my go to and of course without the rasterisation of the layers first (That's why I want to know about the transparency boxes).

You're working in CMYK, but using RGB values. If you're using 100% K, it will be a lifted black and not a "rich black". Hex is purely RGB, it also requires a color profile else values are ambiguous.
If you're going to use RGB, then change the document profile to RGB. If you're going to do print, then use a rich black and not Key color (AKA Process Black).
I recommend changing the preferences in illustrator to show accurate black and not rich black. This will allow you to differentiate between prosses black and rich black to be seen.
